So, you wanted to know if the Skimz macroalgae Reactors work? This was Skimz MBR157 on Jay (USA) reef tank.

We were impressed with Skimz MBR157 Macroalgae Reactor. The test uses Chaetomorpha the typical macroalgae to absorb excess nutrients while hosting and growing amphipods and copepods.

Skimz Macroalgae Reactors feature a blend of white, red and blue LEDs to grow the macroalgae and a small feed pump pushes water through.
